I want a degree in graphic design but I'm not sure how to go about it?

Hi all, I've been working as a web designer for about 5 years now, mainly on the front end designy aspect and am a whizz with photoshop - but to get most jobs or to get properly noticed you need a alongsid a portfolio. It woul also help me improve my design skills i think. The only problem is- how do i go about it? I don't want to stop working as i'm used to the money and i cannot get a student loan because I have been bankrupt and will be refused!!Can anyone offer any suggestions?
