Why do the democrats have no spine or backbone?

as a lifelong democrat i have watched the party leaders cowtow to the bush adminisration ,failed to impeach him for his actions and then support his wars... if they didnt want to leave the troops unprotected then they should have impeached bush and cheney but no they chickened out...well ive had it with them ...IM VOTING FOR MCCAIN
