Does he like me? Why Does he stare at me!?

So theres this gent. at school right. and in my cles my mate tells me that hes starin at me more than 75 % of the time. I like him alot. and my mate told him that someone likes him, and the first thing he says is "is it lisa, is it lisa" (lisa is me in this case). and my mate said why do you think its her? and he said "because you hang out alot" and then he kept on askin her and askin her if it was me and then she said" you dont talk to her though" and well he still asks her, but just not if its me... we never chat, because ive been to "afraid" lets say to go up to him. even though hes said hey lisa, and bye lisa on two seperate occasions. could you help me? what should i do!!
