Why do my ears get extremely red?

my ears get really red. i don't think its from sun exposure as im inside working hard when it happens. it also sometimes occurs when im inside not working or doing anything strenuous. it is not due to embarrment as im alone when it happens and i don't feel embarred before or after. any information Personal stories links and or advice would be appreciated. thank you.
