Planning a wedding in Whittier, Ca?

My fiance are planning to be married in Whittier, Ca sometime in March. I think we have the ceremony and reception locations worked out (Local church and family backyard), but I am looking for advice on everything else. We are on a decent budget (about $10,000). Any advice on area hotels for guests to stay? Good catering ( nothing extravagant)? Flowers? Live band? Any and all ideas are appreciated!
