I'm thinking about puting a purple horny gl pack on my truck how's the drone?

I want the loudness and cheapness of the gl pack but I've heard the drone is ear ripping loud anyone kno anything about these glpacks or if there's a way to numb the drone or something or if anything sounds better without the drone and without costing me a bunch?
