Wouldnt this "tee" you off? ir am i just being too picky?

my boyfriend has said he stopped smokin after 20 years of it. weve been together for 2 mths, and he is supposedly doin it for me. but he tells me he has a cig at work bout once a week. i dont mind, even a cig or two a day is better than what he was smoking. im skeptical, but i believe him til i can prove otherwise. he came to see me the other night smellin like a cig and i got him to admit he smoked one. last night he came to see me again and i asked if he smoked and he said no not for a few days. well i held his hand and kissed it, and if u know a smoker, you know their 2 fingers REAK of cigarrette smell after holding and smokin one-or more. thats how his smelled! i told him that he doesnt have to lie to me, and he got EXTREMELY upset and started sayin i call him a liar and how do i know better than him if he smoked or not. i dont even feel the same since this dumb lie he told but im pretending everything is fine and let it go. am i being too dramatic, or shouldnt this piss me off?
