Will this stress my video card a lot?

I'm going to connect a 1920x1080 monitor to my laptop, whose max resolution is 1600x900. Will turning up the resolution on my games(specifically WoW) to 1920x1080 put a lot of stress on the video card, or is the upgrade negligible? The video card is an ATI Radeon Mobility 4670.
