Where is the vacuum advance on 86 chevy 305 with quadrajet?

i have a acceleration problem when i accelerate my truck bogs down only in gear when its not in gearit revs up fine i was told it could be distributor weight or vacuum advance any help would be appreciated the quadra has a pump solenoid on the top also been told it could be problem
